Why OFS exists
It’s a capacity problem, not a competence problem.
Many Indian businesses between ₹5 crore and ₹100 crore run their accounts through one or two people and their compliance through a chartered accountant carrying dozens of other clients. Everyone involved is competent. Nobody has the capacity.
So the books close late if they close at all, the MIS is a Tally export nobody reads, and the owner makes pricing, hiring and purchasing decisions on numbers that are six weeks old and not fully reconciled.
Meanwhile the questions that actually decide the year — which product line is genuinely profitable, how many weeks of cash there are, whether this customer’s terms are quietly funding their business with your money — go unasked, because nobody’s job is to ask them.
That gap is what we were built to fill: run the finance function properly, month after month, and put someone senior in the room when the numbers need interpreting.
How we work
Six things we hold to.
Narrow on purpose
Accounting, reporting, CFO advisory, GST and TDS. We don’t do payroll, audit, ROC or income tax — not because they don’t matter, but because a firm that promises everything delivers the monthly calendar to nobody.
Fixed fees, written scope
Every engagement is a fixed monthly fee against a scope you’ve read. No hourly billing, because hourly billing makes clients hesitate before picking up the phone.
Your software, your data
We work inside your Tally, Zoho Books or QuickBooks licence. There’s no proprietary platform to be locked into and nothing to extract if you ever leave.
We say when we’re not the answer
If a part-time bookkeeper would serve you better, or the work needs a practising chartered accountant, we’ll tell you on the first call rather than sell you a retainer.
Reviewed before it reaches you
Nothing goes out on one person’s say-so. Every close is reviewed, and anything ambiguous comes back to you as a question rather than a quiet assumption.
Deadlines are the product
Accurate numbers delivered six weeks late aren’t accurate enough to be useful. The calendar is the thing we protect hardest.
The team
Qualified people, clearly scoped work.
Our team includes qualified chartered accountants alongside experienced accountants and finance professionals. That’s what lets us take on reconciliation, reporting and compliance work with confidence.
It also means we’re precise about what we are. OFS is an outsourced finance company, not a firm of chartered accountants. Employing qualified CAs is not the same thing as being a CA firm, and we don’t hold ourselves out as one.
We perform no CA-reserved work of any kind — no statutory or tax audit, no certification, no attest reports, no ROC or income tax filing, and no representation before the authorities. All of that stays with your own practising chartered accountant. We keep deliberately clear of it.

We work with businesses across India. The engagement is remote-first by design — the monthly close, the reporting pack and the VCFO review call work identically whether you’re down the road or in another state, and we don’t price differently for distance.
The office is on L.B.S. Road in Kanjurmarg (West), which is convenient for clients around Kanjurmarg, Powai, Vikhroli, Bhandup, Mulund and Thane who would rather meet face to face.
